About Department::

The department is involved in teaching subjects of Applied Sciences and Humanities to under graduate level. Applied Science department plays a vital role in overall development of students towards Engineering Course. The foundation of engineering education is laid through the knowledge of basic principles of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Communication Skills, Basics of Computing, and Basics of Electronics etc. Applied Science is a bridge that connects Pure Sciences with the engineering world. . There are well qualified and experienced faculty members whose services are available to the students & department. The department Conduct unit tests, mid-term test and Pre University test to improve result. Different types of the competition, guest lecture are organized by department.

Program Educational Objective

  • To enable meaningful understanding of applied sciences fundamental to various branches of engineering, thus laying the foundation of each student’s career.
  • To provide students with a sound foundation in the mathematical, scientific and engineering fundamentals necessary to formulate, solve and analyze engineering problems and to mold them for Engineering studies from science background.
  • The student will be skilled in the fundamental concept of basic science necessary for success in industry as well as advanced studied.
  • To prepare student for pursue carrier choice in all branches of engineering or related interdisciplinary fields that will benefit to form a strong background in applied science and engineering.
  • Students will be prepared as an effective team member with good communication and teamwork skills as well as an appreciation for ethical behavior necessary to thrive in their careers.
