Welcome to the Department of Humanities and Applied Sciences! It was established in the year 2010 right from the day of beginning of the institute which plays a vital role in catering to the teaching of engineering students of all branches. The goal of Humanities and Applied Sciences Department at VBKCOE is to lay a well- built foundation of basic principles of various disciplines such as Engineering Mathematics, Engineering Physics, Engineering Chemistry, Environmental Studies and Communication Skills in the mind of young budding engineers so that they proceed to rest of their years of study with up to date knowledge and training of basic engineering skills to be the competent engineers of tomorrow’s to serve the society. Therefore, the department develops the practical approach to explore the talent among students with good communication skills to fulfill the need of an hour.
The teaching methodology is based on application of innovative teaching strategies such as digital Classroom, regular lectures and assignments. The department offers counseling sessions, Personality development program, Presentation Skills, guidance program, seminars on communications skills.
The department has well equipped labs, classrooms, and all other required facilities to impart quality technical education with professional skills. The department has a team of faculty who are dedicated and passionate for the all round development of students.
