About Department:
Department of Applied Science and Humanities serves as the bedrock on which this institute is firmly structured. The foundation of engineering education is laid through the knowledge of basic science. The department being an integral and basic part of the college focuses on promoting the discovery and application of scientific knowledge in a manner that prepares the students to contribute actively, intellectually, and ethically as citizens of a dynamic scientific community. The department takes care of core subjects like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Professional communications. Department has competent and knowledgeable faculty and well-equipped laboratories.
LABORATORY FACILITIES :
The department has been developed three well equipped & well-furnished labs for the students curriculum growth, namely: PHYSICS LAB, CHEMISTRY LAB & LANGUAGE LAB.
(1) PHYSICS LABORATORY:
Physics is conceptual and theoretical ladder for engineers who give conceptual understanding to engineers in the field of Electronics and communication, Mechanical Engineering, Civil, Automobile and Electrical Engineering etc. The physics laboratory is fully equipped with total investment of Rs. 7,57,783/-
(2) CHEMISTRY LABORATORY:
Chemistry lab apprises the students with fundamental knowledge of chemistry and their application and utilization in fields of engineering. Chemistry laboratory is well equipped to meet all the requirements of latest instruments ph-metric Analysis Setups, Electronic Chemical Balances, Electric Oven, Distillation Plant, and Conductometry Point with total investment of Rs. 4,17,342/-
(3) LANGUAGE LAB:
To improve communication skills & for personality development of students as per the industrial needs, there is a language lab with total investment of Rs.4,05,100/- It plays an important role in language learning process. It is a technological aid for learning the communication skills, which is important during recruitment process.
